Why are SPACs all of a Sudden Popular?
That isn’t to say that some SPAC investments end up horribly or blank checks lose money. This can be very well the case lots of times. However, with SPACs that have a reputable management team, fortune 500 companies, or people like Chamath Palihapitiya (who I think is a legend), I’m willing to gamble my money. Even very occasionally when I need to wait on more details on what the company being acquired is.
