Of course, there is currently more talk about the new iOS, which offers many more new features, but it can certainly not be said that watchOS 9 does not bring anything new — there are enough new features here as well.

But as it happens after some updates, a handful of users have a problem with battery life. So, if you’ve installed watchOS 9 on your Apple Watch and since it’s been lasting a lot less on a single charge, here are six tips to help.

There are a few ways you can turn on the display on your Apple Watch. Specifically, you can light it up by tapping it, for example, and rotating the digital crown. However, probably the most common use is to automatically wake up the display when you lift your wrist upwards. This feature is very useful, but motion detection can be incorrect sometimes, and the Apple Watch display activates at inopportune times.

And since the display is very battery-intensive, any such wake-up can reduce battery life. So, to preserve the longest battery life, you can disable this feature by going to the Watch app, tapping My Watch → Display & Brightness and turning off Wake by Lifting your Wrist.
