SURRENDER

Some days she would stop and surrender
Her fears and her doubts they were tender
She threw up her hands
Pulled up from quicksand
Then nothing would rile or bend her.

Made piles of art it was clear
But in 2006
I stopped… lost my kicks
I hoped retirement soon might be near!
