TAKING FLIGHT

Our final Amal fellowship session was held on October 9, 2022. Our session began at 1:30 PM, and there were many happy and excited faces. We had no idea what our mentors would do in this session. Of course, we weren’t required to study during the last farewell session, but we were all unsure what to do in an online farewell.

So, the session begins with sharing feelings about the whole fellowship journey. Some fellows shared what they have learned throughout the fellowship and what changes they feel within themselves. After that, we had a fun activity which we enjoyed a lot. The best part of the whole fellowship session was the gratitude chain. We pay gratitude to every person in the session and It was emotional for me though.

In the end, our mentors shared their views about life learning. The point is that we learn every day and experience new things. Many hardships may come in your path but you have to keep working and keep focusing on your goals. Many people may discourage you but you have to keep silent and continue to work on what you want in your life. Don’t bother what people say. If you want that thing in your life go for it and work accordingly.

Try to learn new things every day. Reflect on yourself and your actions. Be there for yourself. Try to spend time with yourself.

We also discussed how positive a mindset impacts your actions and behavior towards life. This reminds me of a quotation from the book “Welcome home”

So, try to think positively and positive things will happen in your life. When you look for the positive you will see the positive. Be consistent and have faith in yourself.

And at the end practice, practice and practice. Practice makes a man perfect. When you think any task is difficult, try to practice it multiple times. You will automatically see the difference.

I learned so many things from the last session about how one should see him/her life and how one should be goal-oriented and organized.

At Amal Academy, I met so many positive-minded people who are all so confident despite their problems. I liked how everyone tried to encourage one another. I made many friends, and yes, I will always be available to help anyone who needs it. I will try to learn more from them and will keep in touch with Amal’s best people.
