Zeta chain Testnet Guide

ZetaChain is Layer 1 blockchain built using the Cosmos SDK. ZetaChain’s goal is to be omnichain dApps, which supports multiple networks (L1 blockchains like Ethereum and BSC and Layer 2 solutions like Arbitrum and Optimism).

ZetaChain is the foundation for the future of multichain. The new blockchain provides multichain functionality without the use of bridges or wrapped tokens, as well as simple deployment of omnichain-dApps or odApps. These applications can manage and link data and values across all smart contract platforms as well as platforms.

For operational transaction monitoring, ZetaChain releases a new cross-chain DEX code for developers and partners to create powerful omnichain dApps in DeFi.

In short, this is the L1 blockchain, which also has a testnet. Well, you can’t skip it at all, especially since there are very few testnets in general and the chance of a drop here is maximum.

Currently its testnet is ongoing, so in this article everything is given for the participation rules and necessary links.

In this testnet, you can earn ZETA Points by Swapping, Inviting new members, and Reporting issues. The following table shows how many points you can earn for each task.

Guide:

For this testnet we need some test token goerli eth, which you can request from the goerli faucet.

Step 1:

Connect wallet and claim faucet

When Twitter verification pop-up appears, click “Verify with Twitter”. Note that your Twitter account must be over 1 month old.

After that, we need to connect our wallet

When the wallet is connected properly, click “Request Assets” to claim Testnet ZETA.

Step 2:
Making swaps in the “Swap” tab

Select any network from the list and then switch to it

and then swap it.

You will be awarded 7,000 points per week for one swap

As needed, we can easily add any and all tokens on different chains! The pricing, slippage, and liquidity of tokens is neither reflective of Mainnet nor is it stable, since there is no monetary value or real market for these tokens.

Secondly, the Swap App helps solve a key problem for developers, which is the fragmented nature of current testnet faucet and token-request systems (clunky Google forms, minuscule token drips, and so on).
