NFTrade Announces Moonriver Integration

Moonriver and Moonbeam are EVM compatible parachains on the Kusama and Polkadot networks, allowing for seamless creation and deployment on these highly functional blockchains with code already deployed on Ethereum. By lowering the barrier to entry for users and developers alike, these parachains can single-handedly jumpstart the Kusama and Polkadot economies. With this in mind, we are thrilled to announce our integration of Moonriver, the EVM-based Kusama parachain, making NFTrade the first multi-chain marketplace to make Moonriver/Kusama NFTs available to the masses in an open marketplace.

Currently, there are a few highly segmented NFT marketplaces on Kusama, but this is not enough to drive broadscale adoption, as the segmentation is too extreme. With the introduction of our Moonriver implementation, all Kusama NFTs will have a home in our one-stop-shop NFT environment, with the ability to access and utilize all of the NFTs available on our various integrated networks. Following this integration, which is slated for launch in December, Moonriver users and project developers will be able to easily create, buy, sell, peer-to-peer swap, and farm NFTs with just a few clicks.

Although NFTrade may not be the first NFT marketplace to integrate Moonriver, we plan to be the most impactful with our dynamic list of features and growing user base. As an open and decentralized secondary marketplace, this is a new opportunity for the Kusama ecosystem that was previously unavailable, with Polkadot accessibility coming as soon as the Moonbeam parachain is live. Until then, we are ready to show the Moonriver and Kusama user bases the powers of NFTrade!

NFTrade is the first cross-chain and blockchain-agnostic NFT platform. We are an aggregator of all NFT marketplaces and host the complete NFT lifecycle, allowing anyone to seamlessly create, buy, sell, swap, farm, and leverage NFTs across different blockchains. Using NFTrade, anyone can gain access to the entirety of their NFT, unlocking the total value of the NFT market.

Moonriver is an Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform on the Kusama network that makes it easy to build natively interoperable applications. This Ethereum compatibility allows developers to deploy existing Solidity smart contracts and DApp frontends to Moonriver with minimal changes. As a parachain on the Kusama network, Moonriver will benefit from the shared security of the Kusama relay chain and integrations with other chains that are connected to Kusama.
